As a major supplier of trucks and heavy equipment to the construction industry our client is looking for an experienced fleet allocator to join their growing business structure. The new company allocator will have a strong understanding of fleet coordination, compliance and customer service.
This role will suit someone with general knowledge of construction and heavy equipment, construction protocols and can effectively communicate between, clients and contractors.
Schedule and allocate to client sites
Ensure sub-contractor numbers are at the level the client has ordered by the client.
Monitor the success of projects
Be a conduit of information between key company people
Build relationships with clients and provide great customer service
Identify poor performance of contractors and ensure compliance with company policy.
Identify potential improvements to efficacy and productivity
Skills and Experience:
Strong experience in fleet management in transport and logistics
Knowledge of the Melbourne metropolitan area
Computer literacy and scheduling experience
Highly developed written and verbal communication skills
