My client is seeking a Senior Accountant to join their team and play a pivotal role in managing key client relationships, ensuring compliance, and mentoring junior staff.
Key Responsibilities:
 
Client Relationship Management:

• Manage annual client scope and workflow, emphasising proactive contact and outcome-driven service.
• Serve as the first point of contact for clients regarding compliance and management queries.
• Collaborate with Partners to onboard and establish new client relationships (no business development required; this role begins once the client is engaged).
• Build and strengthen relationships with existing clients.
• Identify opportunities to add value to clients and provide internal referrals (e.g. advisory and wealth management) when necessary.

Compliance Delivery:

• Assist in and provide tax advice in collaboration with senior team members or Partners, if needed.
• Act as a senior point of contact for junior team members on processing financial statements, tax returns, and tax advice.
• Support junior and outsourced teams with job management and prioritisation.
• Review financial statements and tax returns.
• Meet with clients to complete various key activities throughout the year.
